Born and raised in New York City,  Melissa R. is a hip hop, commercial dancer and choreographer currently on faculty at Steps on Broadway.  She has taught at Broadway Dance Center, New York Film Academy, Man In Motion and many competition schools in New Jersey. She has also taught master classes abroad in Colombia, South America and England.  Melissa recently toured for the WNBA as a panelist and dance teacher in Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, and Chile.

Melissa is currently on her second year on one of the best NBA dance teams in the industry, as voted by Dance Spirit magazine, the “Brooklynettes!
